The British Council have just released a call for Research Links and Institutional Links – this is for small and medium grants for the development of research and innovation collaborations between the UK and partner country institutions.
The following partner countries are included in this call: Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines and Vietnam.
Grants will be £30,000 to £300,000 over two years and the deadline is Thursday 20th November

The British Council, working with the Higher Education International Unit, are accepting proposals for travel grants. Researchers based in the UK and one partner country may apply to spend 3-6 months in a research institution in the UK or abroad.
Partner countries under Researcher Links – Newton Fund are Egypt, Kazakhstan, Mexico, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam.
Partner countries under Researcher Links are Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia and South Korea.

The Newton Fund is part of the UK’s official development assistance. Its aim is to develop science and innovation partnerships that promote the economic development and welfare of developing countries.
