The College of Medical and Dental Sciences is proud to be offering a fellowship programme for outstanding clinical and non-clinical researchers who wish to apply for independent research fellowships funded by organisations such as the EU, Research Councils UK, the Wellcome Trust, other research charities such as CRUK, BHF and Arthritis Research UK, and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). A University of Birmingham research shop, “Think Corner”, will pop up soon in the city centre, opening its doors to the public from 25th August to 12th September, coinciding with the British Science Festival on campus. This is FREE space for public engagement activities, which could be anything from hands-on demos to citizen science, soapbox talks to in-depth discussion.
