PERCAT Teaching Opportunities

15th September (9 – 11 am) in IBR Seminar Room

Following on from last year’s successful event, it is clear that many in PERCAT would like the opportunity to teach within the College of MDS.  This workshop presents the range of teaching opportunities we hope to fill in the next academic year. If you are interested in teaching then training is available.

Postdocs/early career researchers can be involved in teaching in a range of ways and activities such as leading tutorials, demonstrating in labs etc.  This can be an ideal way to ‘test the water’ to see if teaching is something you enjoy and maybe wish to consider as a career.  You would not be expected to do more than an hour or two of teaching per year (though you can if you want!). You will be involved in established sessions, using well-tested materials.

The workshop is a chance to discuss what is required with lecturers and/or talk to other researchers about their teaching experience.  Refreshments will be provided.Registration is free, please complete the online form to register.
