We’re pleased to announce that we’ve now received confirmation from Arthritis Research UK (ARUK) and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) that they will be taking part in the upcoming Translational Funding Event (12th May) at the College of Medical & Dental Sciences, along with the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), Cancer Research UK (CRUK), the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), the Medical Research Council (MRC) the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and the Wellcome Trust (WT).

On 12th May, the University of Birmingham is holding its second Translational Funding Event. We have had confirmation that representatives from BBSRC, CRUK, EPSRC, MRC and Wellcome Trust will attend and each give a brief presentation on how to submit a successful application to their translational funding schemes. We also hope to welcome ARUK, LLR and NIHR. There will be an informal networking lunch, and the opportunity to book a 1-2-1 slot (10-15 mins) to discuss your research and the suitability of it to a particular funder. Continue reading
