Women in Science & Engineering Networking Event

Women in Science & Engineering Networking Event, British Science Festival, Birmingham, Monday 8th September.

The Women in Science Networking Event will take place on Mon 8th Sept 6-7.30pm in the Café Aroma, Staff House at the University of Birmingham. Women scientists at all levels will be attending, as well as a number of science journalists. A representative from the Daphne Jackson Trust will open the event, and wine & canapes will be available. The networking will be followed at 8pm by a Women in Science in TV event, taking place 5 minutes walk away, which includes panelists such as Gia Milinovich, Lucy Pilkington, and Alice Roberts.

This networking event will be a great opportunity for you to share your experiences of returning to research, discuss your work with other scientists and journalists, and extend your networks. Two of the Trust’s Fellowship Advisors will be on hand to answer any questions.
