We have the rare honour of a visit from the Editorial Director for Nature, Dr Ritu Dhand, who is keen to discuss the practice and processes of publishing in Nature journals.
Dr Dhand is based in Nature Publishing Group’s London office and her responsibilities include overseeing publication of all research in the Nature journals
Ritu received a BSc in Genetics from Queen Mary and Westfield College, London, and a MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from University College, London.
Before joining Nature Publishing Group, Ritu was awarded a PhD from University College, London, where she investigated the structure and function of the PI 3-kinase signalling molecule, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute, Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto. She joined Nature as the signalling and cancer editor in 1999, taking on the additional role of Nature’s Reviews and Insights Editor in 2000.
